Voter registration starts Tuesday at high schools
A voter registration program will be held at the West Bend High Schools and at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County by members of the West Bend Noon Rotary Club.
The West Bend High Schools program will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the area between the two cafeterias.
The UW-WC program will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 30 through Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the theater lobby in the upper level.
For this program, the Rotarians are acting as state registration deputies and will be able to register anyone wanting to register from any voting precinct in Wisconsin. Anyone who is 18 or will be 18 by Nov. 4 may be registered. They will be asked to furnish photo identification with a proper address. If the person has moved, a photo I.D. and utility bill or other evidence of the move with the proper address will have to be presented.
