Now don't get me wrong..... This post is not a dis to Carl Knepel, nor a knockdown of his recent accomplishments on his debate team. As a matter of fact, I'll first sends kudos and congrats to Carl as he goes off to the national competition as the team's MVP!
I find it strikingly "interesting" that the WB News would publish two articles in the same week, both connecting to either the upcoming referendum (see previous post of 15 Minutes with Mike Weston) and now with Carl Knepel, who is currently running for a seat on the West Bend School Board.
The article cites:
The West Bend School Board had the debate team on the chopping block among other budget cuts. Knepel put his debating skills to use. Decked out in a suit, Knepel addressed the board in public session four times.
The board members told Knepel they were impressed with his persistence.
Hmmmmmmmmmm..........
