WB School Board candidate Knepel lends interview at Boots & Sabers

Excellent interview done by Owen and posted on Boots & Sabers.

Carl Knepel is running for one of the two open West Bend School Board seats. Read his interview here. Read the posted comments, as well. I, for one, do not support him and will not be voting for him in spring.

Curtsy to Boots & Sabers:

Carl Knepel is a candidate for the West Bend School Board. I recently sent him a list of questions to get to know him better. Based on his responses, I will not be supporting him, but judge for yourself.

Here is a portion of one of the question/answer sections:

Do you support the school referenda as written? Why?

As a current student, member of the community, and board of education candidate, I am for the passing of the current school referenda. The staff of the district, and more importantly, the children of our community, deserve at the very least, adequate facilities. The district staff work hard for their students and their student’s families. For me, who would be their employer if elected, not to support the action of improving the current facility situation, would do nothing less then make me an irresponsible employer, a irresponsible board member, and a irresponsible person.
