There is a very important primary on Feb 17, 2009 for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
There are five candidates: Lowell Holtz, Todd Alan Price, Tony Evers, Rose Fernandez, and Van Mobley.
The top two candidates will be facing each other for the position on April 7th. Rose Fernandez seems to be focused on fixing the Milwaukee Public Schools (which is badly needed). A mailing from Van Mobley communicates his excellent website that tells more about him: www.VANMOBLEY.COM
He is endorsed by two State Senators Alberta Darling and Glenn Grothman, two State Representatives Jim Ott and Mark Gottlieb, and many others. He is a professor at Concordia University Wisconsin.
We have the opportunity to fill one state office with a conservative and we need that badly here in Wisconsin! If you will be out of town on the 17th, please vote absentee.
